Brand identity for online landscape design service YARD Culture.

Yard Culture needed a brand identity that could make online landscape design feel approachable, modern, and distinctly Australian — without losing credibility.

We built a practical visual system designed to work across web, social, templates, and print, anchored by the “picket fence” symbol and a flexible logo family for different layouts and sizes. The identity balances playful warmth (Long Weekend) with clean clarity (Urbanist), supported by an earthy palette of rich greens and warm terracotta tones that nod to the textures of real backyards.

To help the brand communicate services clearly, we also developed a consistent icon set, organic “Yard Above” shapes, and imagery direction focused on natural light, macro plant detail, and real client/sister-brand backyard photography — giving Yard Culture a cohesive look that scales as the business grows.

To support their launch and ongoing marketing, we produced ad creative and a suite of social content, then packaged it into reusable Canva templates so the client can keep creating on-brand posts without starting from scratch each time.

We then used the brand identity to design a custom Shopify site for their online landscape services.

Our awesome client.
